BUDDHA MOUNTAIN AND A CLOSE BY WINERY

I want to wish everybody a safe and happy New Year!

Please have fun but be careful!  Within the next two days I will be getting a new camera so I will have a lot more pics for you.  If you have any requests let me know and I will do my best!

This Buddha is on the side of a mountain.  It is real gold and a nice park surrounds it.  About a mile or so further down the road is one of Thailand's winery's.

HARD TO FIT IN A CAMERA'S EYE

I AM 5' 8 SO YOU CAN IMAGINE HOW BIG THE BUDDHA IS!

SANCTUARY OF TRUTH

The Sanctuary of Truth is located in Pattaya. It was started by a business man Khun Lek who wanted to have visitors to Pattaya know that there is much more to this city than bars and the notoriety that people seem to associate it with.  These pictures are about five years old and the project is still being built.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE!  I SINCERELY HOPE YOU ARE HAVING A GREAT DAY!

Not to be mean to those of you who are suffering in the cold and snow, but hopefully these pics will warm you up!

LIFE ON THE FARM

(Originally posted on different server 12/20/10)

When my partner, Nai and I get tired of living in the city, we will go to his farm which is close to Cambodia.

It is a nine hour bus trip and then about 25 minutes on a motor bike from where the bus drops us off.

LOL, you will notice in some of the pics I do not have my teeth in. In the village I am considered "Ojaa" or grandfather and they think it is silly for me to have them in....after all, who cares here?

Plus the kids love when I give them my "Bitter Beer" smile!
